Is the following Hadith about the Prophet ﷺ loved sweet foods and honey authentic?

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحِبُّ الْحَلْوَاءَ وَالْعَسَلَ

“Narrated Aisha: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) used to love sweet edible things and honey.”

The Hadith about the Prophet ﷺ loved sweet foods and honey is narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari in multiple places (5431, 5599, 5614, 5682) and there is almost unanimous agreement amongst the scholars of Hadith that every Hadith (Musnad) in Bukhari is Sahih.

Ibn Battaal in Sharh Sahih al-Bukhari (Vol. 6, p70) explained that “الحلوى” here means anything sweet:

عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رسُول اللَّه (صلى الله عليه وسلم) يُعْجِبُهُ الْحَلْوَاءُ وَالْعَسَلُ. الحلوى: كل شىء حلو
