Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 224
The above Hadith is a clear indication of the importance of seeking knowledge. Not only is this important, but the hadith also highlights that this is an obligation on EVERY Muslim.
