Abu al-Hajjaj Mujahid bin Jabr is known as one of the most prominent students of the blessed Sahabi Sayidina Abdullah bin Abbas (May Allah Most High be pleased with them both). He studied Quran, Hadith and Fiqh with Sayidina Ibn Abbas.
He narrated Hadith from many other prominent Sahabah too. Many great scholars of the Tabieen were his students. Including Imams Tawoos, Atta and Qatada. He passed away in 104 Hijri and is one of the great scholars of the Salaf.
