Is the Hadith about taking the Name of Allah Most High when uncertain about meat Sahih?

Islamic Text

Yes, it is in Bukhari.

(Sayidah) Aishah  said, A group of people said, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ,  there are people who have recently embraced Islam and they bring us meat, we do not know whether they had mentioned Allah’s (Most High) Name while slaughtering the animals or not. The Prophet ﷺ said, You mention Allah’s (Most High) Name and then eat.’ (Sahih al-Bukhari, 7398).

This Hadith is narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim multiple times, there is no doubt regarding its authenticity. The scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah are agreed upon the authenticity of the Marfoo Hadith in these two collections.

Everything that (Imam) Muslim considered to be Sahih of this book is undoubtedly Sahih, and it leads to contemplative certainty due to its authenticity. Likewise, everything that (Imam) al-Bukhari considered to be Sahih in his book (is Sahih), because the Ummah has accepted that reality (the authenticity of Bukhari and Muslim) with agreement. With the exception of a few, whose acceptance or disagreement does not affect the consensus. (Imam Ibn Salah, Siyanatu Sahih Muslim).

And Allah (Most High) Knows Best.
