Is there a Dua for the sick person mentioned in authentic Hadith?

Islamic Text

Yes, a Dua for the sick person is narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari.

(Sayidah) A’isha (May Allah Most high be pleased with her) said, that when Allah’s Messenger ﷺ would visit a sick person, or a sick person was brought to him, he ﷺ would say: ‘Remove the difficulty O Lord of people, heal (him or her) for you are the Healer. There is no healing except your healing. A healing that leaves behind no illness.’ (Sahih al-Bukhari 5675).

The Hadith mentioning the Dua for a sick person is narrated multiple times Sahih al-Bukhari (5750) and Sahih Muslim (46 – (2191) – 46, (2191) – 47, (2191) – 48, (2191) – 49). The wording of the narrations varies slightly, so one can select any one of them and recite it.

Everything that (Imam) Muslim considered to be Sahih of this book is undoubtedly Sahih, and it leads to contemplative certainty due to its authenticity. Likewise, everything that (Imam) al-Bukhari considered to be Sahih in his book (is Sahih), because the Ummah has accepted that reality (the authenticity of Bukhari and Muslim) with agreement. With the exception of a few, whose acceptance or disagreement does not affect the consensus. (Imam Ibn Salah, Siyanatu Sahih Muslim).

And Allah Most High Knows Best.
