The Hadith about not repeating prayers has a Sahih chain according to Imam al-Nawawi and others.

(Sayidina) Ibn Umar (May Allah Most High be pleased with them both) said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, ‘A prayer is not repeated in the same day, twice.’ (Sunan al-Nasai 860, Sahih).

(Sayidina) Ibn Umar (May Allah Most High be pleased with them both) said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, ‘Do not pray a prayer twice in the same day.’ (Sunan Abi Dawood 579, Sahih).

These two Hadith narrations are very similar in wording, which is why many Hadith scholars commented on their authenticity together.

‘Do not pray a prayer twice in the same day.’ This is narrated by Abu Dawood and al-Nasai with a Sahih chain. (Imam al-Nawawi, Khulasatu al-Ahkaam).

‘Do not pray a prayer twice in the same day.’ (Narrated by) Ahmad, Abi Dawood, al-Nasai and Ibn Hibban and it was authenticated by (Imam) Ibn al-Sakan). (Imam al-Showkani, Nayl al-Owtaar).

And Allah Most High Knows Best.
